We bought this seat about a year ago for our 3 1/2 year old daughter, it has been the worst seat so far! The straps always got twisted and hard to adjust. We spent more time trying to untwist and adjust the seatbelts everytime we tried to buckle her in. I finally went a bought a different one since this one had gotten to be such a hassle just to buckle her in.

Easy to clean and light weight so if you are lugging it in and out of a car its isnt such a hassle. Great price for such a booster and a good investment since she can use it for years to come! :*)

• I am the mother of 6 kids...I have had my fair share of experience with car seats. This is a great seat! We bought it at Big Lots for our 2 year old daughter. She loves it. Its comfy, easy to clean. It straps in nice and snug and doesnt take up more room in the car than it should. We are ordering a second one today for our baby thats about to turn 1!

  I was very pleased that the Marathon can handle a child up to 65lbs in a five point harness. No other seat that I reviewed offered this feature. I also liked the fact that the seat was very easy to use and install with the latch and tether strap.

  My son fit nicely at age 7 months and the transition from infant car seat was very pleasant for him as he did not like his Peg Perego Primo Viaggio.

  The price for the Britax Marathon retails for $270.00 everywhere. However the price differed tremendously when I shopped online. I did find traveling tikes.com to have the most competitive price at $220.00. Their price included free shipping and I payed no sale tax as I lived outside California.
  
  They offered a great selection of colors to choose from and had the color I wanted in stock.

  I believe I made the best choice after very carefull review and hope that this add if published help those whom review my comments.

• Britax Marathon Carseat – All Star Blue
  My son out-grew his Graco SnugRide after about 5 1/2 months, and at first I purchased him a much cheaper convertible seat, and I quickly learned that it would not be sufficient. I have been borrowing a friends Marathon for a few months now, and I finally purchased this All Star seat last week, I am VERY happy with it!

  First of all, the Marathon is EXTREMELY safe, and ranked very well in crash-test ratings... which is always very important. It is very easy to install (rear or forward facing), and as long as you have a medium-sized to large car (I have the Honda Odyssey) it should fit with room for other passengers as well. Also, the seat pattern is a very masculine print, which is what I wanted. At the same time it is very comfortable and plush, which means he has no problem napping in it. The cover is easy to wash (which I found out the hard way only a day after I purchased the seat) and it comes out of the washer looking like new. The seat straps do not tangle (VERY important when you have a squirmy toddler) and are extremely easy to adjust. I was also happy to see that it is easy for adults to buckle and un-buckle the seat belts, but for an average toddler, it would be nearly impossible.

  All in all, since my son LOVES his seat, and since I am very satisfied with it, I award the Marathon seat 5 stars.
