i had the same problem, just get a jumbo pool noodle and put it under the gap behind the lip on the bottom of the car seat, not under the lip as shown here. Also if you put your knee in the seat you can get a tighter install then their way. With the combo of these two I have like .25″ of movement if any at all. Let me know if you need more help. Mine was safety checked by police and is fine.

hey, you guys are using the same carseat as we are, but ours even with the pool noodle and the rocking technique doesn’t sit level and wiggles 2-3 inches, and if i tighten the belts any more it sits sidewayswith the slope of the shoulder belt… any idea what i’m doing wrong? i did it just as you showed, and engagind the alm and everything, made sure the belts wern’t twisted and i think i’m gonna throw this thing in a furnace cause i hate it
