  1. Hollie, my baby items guru, I’m in the market for an infant carseat, but one that I can easily carry, usually I think heavy = safety, but is there an infant carseat out there that I won’t strain my back caring?

  2. Oh, okay, that does make sense

  3. My main question with this seat is are chemicals used. A lot of car seat manufacturers are moving towards car seats that are free of BFRs and toxic chemicals. Infants sleep 16 hours or more a day. I really wouldn’t want my child huffing that stuff even during just a 30 minute car ride once a day for the first 6 months of life.

  4. Not really. Look at the Orbit seats, Cybex Aton, Clek Foonf, and a multitude of others. I wholeheartedly believe that you get what you pay for. A LOT of new parents would rather spend money on a premium luxury stroller and cheap out and get any old car seat. The car seat is the ONE THING that you really should think about spending a good portion of your money on. Oh and recently in the news Graco car seats are being investigated by the feds for faulty seat belts.

  5. Which is better this or the maxi cosi prezi?

  6. I like the idea of marketing to preemie parents- we had to scramble and pick a car seat for our daughter while she was in the NICU and didn’t have the opportunity to shop around because she was born at 29 weeks. We went with a Britax, which is great, but we still had to roll up receiving blankets to keep her secure and snug. Honestly, I would have purchased a seat created for preemies had this been available. That’s not to say she won’t grow into the Britax B-Safe & B-Agile set we went with

  7. *Graco

  8. $280 for a car seat? Isn’t that a bit expensive? Grace has a 4-40 pound cars eat that’s less than this. Now I don’t know about reviews and safety ratings, I’m just saying
