We have this carseat at the grandparents house and I think its nice because its got a great weight range 5-100 pounds…but I’m glad its not in my car! I’m sure I’d get used to it…but:
I think its hard to install into the car. I can get it hooked into the latch system but its so hard to get it as secure as I can get my safe seat or britax. I don’t like how this latch system is a clip vs the britax’s super easy latch pieces. Its not as easy as it seems to raise & lower the height for the straps. For rear facing its not as reclined as I’d like it to be. Works fine for older kids – nice because it has the handles and the cup holders…easier to attach forward facing (although Britax’s latch is still better)….and the pillow is just awkward. I say if its going to be your main seat spend a little extra money and get a Britax (huge fan) but if its going to be a spare thats not used all that often this is a great seat because its so flexible!

The car seat is great and very comfortable for our daughter. I like how everything is so easy to adjust and fits securely around our baby. The cloth cover removes and replaces fast for easy cleanup and washing. I’m excited that it will work for her for several years.
The cloth cover is a velvety material (and black) so it gets warm on hot days. Turning the air conditioning on remedy’s the issue and makes baby comfortable.
One of the downfalls is that it is a very large carseat and doesn’t fit well into our smaller car. We had to push our front seat all of the way forward to make it fit. (Looks like I am riding in the back until she is old enough to turn the seat around front facing.) Another downfall to the carseat is that it takes some maneuvering to level for an infant. We had to find approximately 7+ inches of material to bring the one end up. If its not level then babies head flops forward.

I ‘ve been using this seat for a few months and we love it! I was, however, disappointed that it was so shakey rear facing. It seems like it needs an extra teather to keep it steady. Other than that it is VERY easy to install and I feel that my daughter is very safe and comfortable, forward facing.
