I am little disappointed with this car seat using on the rear position. My 10 month old complains about being to reclined (she rather seat upright) and there is not enough leg room, since the car seat shape gets too close to the back seat.
I believe once she can face forward she will be more comfortable.

Agree with numerous other reviews ; Lazy Boy, Comfortable, Massive, etc…..
But in my experience there is a serious problem with the Harness Mechanism on this car seat, on numerous occasions I’ve struggled to get the restraint belts to correctly tighten on my son ; after repeated attempts have managed to secure him but there seems to be an underlying issue.
( Car seat is fitted forward facing, rear seat in the middle position of 2003 4Runner )

This is a great car seat. My daughter loves to sit in it which is a big difference from her last infant car seat. It is also very easy to install

This is my second Britax car seat. My 2 yr old has been using the first one since she was 1. I’ve read reviews prior to purchasing and this has the highest safety ratings. It was easy to install and very secure for the child with the side impact energy obsorbtion feature. We have recommended this to our friends who have been very happy with the car seat as well.

Not only is this seat huge compared to others but the seat buckle doesn’t come out far enough and isn’t adjustable. Both me and my husband got frustrated with it and returned it. Because of the size of the box and weight of the car seat it cost $48 to ship it back. Expensive lesson. I just purchased the britax frontier at 229 and think i’ll be more pleased.
