  1. This Stroller is awesome, it cuts on a dime, can be folded up by my wife, and is well worth the price. It is easy to adjust and keep things simple. If you don’t have one, get one! If you got one, you love it!

  2. I have had this stroller from my baby’s birth. She is now 22 months and I use it weekly.

Pros: Love this stroller! It’s modern & fun looking. It is not cumbersome like the regular strollers out there. I used this from birth, so I would snap the infant car seat on the stroller – this was a breeze. I converted it to a regular stroller facing out at 7 or 8 months. This was very easy to do. I love the big wheels. I had a jogger stroller which I never used and ended up giving away because this one does the job of both! I did a 5K run on an asphalt trail with my daughter without a problem. I forgot to empty the basket underneat, and it still went very smoothly. I don’t know if I would use this for daily or weekly runs, but I don’t see why not – the roller wheels are very sturdy. To pump them, you can use a regular bike pump. I’ve only had to do that once in 22 months. I can turn the stroller a full 180 degrees with just one hand and one motion. It is extremely adaptable to any surface. The basket underneath has handled groceries, including many heavy items (fruit juice, milk, etc). I use stroller clips to hang grocery bags off the handle – this holds easily. Another good feature is that there are many tilting options because it doesn’t have “fixed” recline settings. The recliner works like a brake, you move it to where you want and then “brake” it. This allows you to recline it to pretty much *any* angle you want!

Cons: Like other reviewers, I wish there was a cupholder, but mostly I wish it had a tray for the baby. I bought an aftermarket of both, but they are soft and keep tilting. So I use the cupholder for keys and garage door opener, and the soft tray only has pockets, no actual flat surface that I can put some cheerios or cheese for the baby. The other complaint I have is that the sunshade (like almost EVERY stroller out there) is completely inadequate. I use a receiving blanket to throw over the top of the stroller and I use to clips I have for kitchen bags to clip it to the side metal frame of the stroller. This works perfectly but it’s not very “pretty”. I also wish there was more cushioning around the head area. When my baby falls asleep, I have to go to work padding up the sides of her head. Finally, my biggest complaint is the size & weight of this stroller. It weighs 25+ lbs and is not a stroller for a quick in & out of the car. It also takes up my entire truck space (with 2 small SUV’s, it’s been the same problem). So I finally took it out, left it at home, and bought a Maclaren Volo for quick outings. The nice stroller stays in our garage and comes out for the Saturday morning 3-hour walks! One more complaint that I only noticed this past week-end: the straps are not designed to hold tall toddlers! I always leave it on the loosest settings, and this week-end I noticed that with a winter jacket on, it was very snug on my daughter.

All in all, I really do like this stroller. If I had not received this as my baby shower gift (from colleagues!), I may have bought the BabyTrend one that is a jogger stroller, but more comfortable than a regular jogger stroller, and also allows you to snap on infant car seats.

Still, it’s a great stroller and one that will serve for years.

  3. I bought this stroller for my third child in 2007 and very glad that i did. i thought it was a little bit too much money to spend on a stroller because i’ve always owned graco travel systems(it was less money and you get an infant carseat), but i would always end up buying a new one after the first year because they seemed to break, we are a very busy family and always on the go so our strollers gets a lot of use. so when the last one broke, my baby was about 6 months, i went online and researched european strollers, i thought maybe i’d try a different kind to last me a little longer, the plastic parts on my graco strollers were the parts that broke. i’ve had the britax vigour for about 1 1/2 years and am now using it for 4th baby. the vigour is a bit on the heavy side when picking it up and bulky but thats all right i have a nissan quest van and it only takes me a few seconds to load it up. it is very well constructed and it seems its going to last me a very long time ,might even be the last stroller i will ever purchase.

my favorite part is the infinite recline and the seat that can face either forward or backwards. the adjustable handle works perfectly for both my husband and i. our family goes to sea world, aquatica, universal studios and disney at least every couple of months(we are passport holders, one advantage of living in florida)this stroller pushes soooooooo smoothly, i’ve also taken it to the beach and it also pushes through the sand without a problem because of the big rear wheels. the fabric is very easy to clean. i dont care for the chest harness and wish that they made it optional to remove.

i refused to buy one of those heavy bulky double strollers so i purchased a Valco Baby Hitch Hiker (Fits Twin) so my toddler can stand on it when going for our daily walk.(i have the jeep side by side Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All-Weather Umbrella Stroller in Fiercethat i also keep in the car just in case my toddler is tired or asleep when we go somewhere.) the canopy doesnt really give much protection from the sun because its not adjustable so i purchased a ray shade(for both strollers) and it works well. and a plastic rain cover that i keep in the basket underneath just in case it rains. i also added one of those clip-on mommy organizer

Eddie Bauer® Belt Bag Stroller Organizerto hold drinks and my cell phone and keys. and for quick trips, instead of me using a diaper bag, i purchased a saddle bag Skip Hop Saddle Bag-Black, which straps on perfectly on the side of the stroller. it holds the babies diapers and wipes, extra onesie, a bottle and the air pump for the tires. i also keep a couple of those hanging hook/clips on the handle when i bring my purse. I’ve also made a little thin pillow so when my baby is asleep, his head doesnt bump on the metal side of the seat. its seems like i purchased a lot of other things to add on to this stroller but i dont regret it at all, these things make my busy life on the go with children a little bit easier. the way i see it, its like buying a car, they have the basic model and you can choose to add on other things to customize it according to your needs or liking. i i wish i would’ve purchased this a long time ago, BEST THING I EVER BOUGHT FOR ME AND MY BABY!

  4. I have used this stroller for the past 8 months (since my son was born). For the first 6 months, we used it as a travel system with the Companion infant seat, and I loved it. It handled so well, was surprisingly light to push, and was easy to use. However, when we began to use the stroller with the seat that comes with it, I was extremely disappointed! The stroller takes up an enormous amount of room in the trunk of my SUV and it’s so incredibly heavy that I can barely lift it in and out of the car. Also, the sunshade is virtually nonexistent. I have recently replaced it with a Joovy Kooper (which I love!) to keep in my car, and will be keeping the Vigour at home for walks around our neighborhood.

  5. I am a brand new mommy and we have used this over ten times already with our 3 1/2 week old boy… We just snug him in with blankets… I LOVE that I can see him (facing me) incase of puke or something… I also love that when he is older we can turn it around… It lies pretty flat too so he is comfortable!

My husband and I did TONS of research on strollers and found this one to really be exactly what we were looking for (for the price)…. We wanted something we could travel with and use right away (as I was eager to get out of the house shortly after we had him).

It is easy to use – simple on and off, simple open and close…. just simple. It all fits together nicely too – quality parts and assembly – I love Britax…

It isn’t too heavy – I’m 120 (pre-pregnancy) and 5′4″ and it is fine for me to carry around…

    Great stroller – highly recommended!
