It is a little larger than I anticipated, but i think all convertible car seats are. The color is great, just as pictured. Getting it installed was a challenge, but what car seat isn't? My son doesn't have a problem with it. I was glad we went with this option instead of the infant seat, he was 9 lbs 9 oz at birth and on track to break 22lbs by the time he is 6 months old. The car seat goes very well with the black leather interior of my car. This car seat is the perfect transition from the previous infant seat and worth every pennny that it costs. My baby is not thin but he is not to fat either! It gets on his legs. I too big even for our SUV. Is hard to also get the baby our from the door for that reason. If your baby is sleeping, you will definitely wake him up since is so hard to take him our and unclip the belt! Is ridiculous!
