The product keeps the sun directly off the seat but I don’t think it keeps the seat any cooler.

I live in Texas so it gets HOT. This product definitely helps keep the heat down…does not keep it from getting hot. I still have to cool down the seat before I put my baby in. Without the seat it was a much harder process. I would buy this product again.

This may sound pathetic, but after buying this product I find myself too lazy to use it. You have to take time to stretch the elastic edges around the seat. It’s quicker to just throw a blanket over the seat. I’ve actually decided to spend a few hundred bucks and just get the windows tinted. It’s so hot where I live that we’re all sweating by the time the AC cools off the car.

I live in AZ, so heat it’s pretty bad (up to 115 degrees), it works to “prevent” the direct exposure of the seat, but that’s it. I guess is better than nothing for what you pay.
I would recommended for people who live in not so hot places.
Bottom line, it’s ok for what you pay.

it really does keep the car seat much cooler that the car! i could put my baby right in the car seat and go rather than waiting for 5 minutes until the car cooled down! highly recommend! =)
