View of the Britax Companion child Car Seat

Fantastic buy, the safest infant seat on the market, Consumer Reports rated one, a lot of features than buying new. We love it. It is heavy to carry, but I do not trust a lighter car seat to hold in a terrible accident and would rather solid sound awfully like this car seat to a cheaper model of lightweight plastic that other manufacturers sell. (The chair is the euro style light and takes up little space in the car, so you just can snap into the seat and not have to carry the car seat around). To solve the weight problem. More information: What you need to know before buying a Britax Companion Infant Car Seat: ReviewThe color and trim look much better in person. In fact, the nurses in the NICU unit (our baby was premature) congratulated during the safety study, our son a car and car seats to see every day, and related this was a nice looking car seat with neat features. (He had to sit there for an hour without a heartbeat or oxygen drops while having their monitors and although it was tiny and looked so small this comfortable seat and kept it in the correct position and that has not mourn once ). I purchased the Cambridge model by Oxford production was delayed so long, I did not have it in time for the birth of Aidan (and apparently goes home with a newborn child and not a chair, no, no). I'm not normal anyway, so why should I care? The Cambridge is not a bad palette - not enough for a wild leap of imagination, and other patterns would have been much more fashionable and cool, but there are reasons that I like. The carseat and heats, but could you imagine a dark color scheme? I think Kentucky Fried Aidan would if I put on a black (or maybe dark blue) carseat. The pattern of Cambridge is manly enough for a child, but also quite sufficient for a girl (for those people who need a more feminine look). Personally, I'd hit a girl in black rather than pink. . . But I know I'm not much of this, and am in possession of a feeling of many parents of girls shown this pattern. I have only washed once (in a particularly tragic situation bath), the rest of the time, I just cleaned the ground. Lighter colors also work well to hide blemishes regurgitation - who have a propensity to appear colourfuly against a dark background. Excess fabric options (and now plastic options), the appearance and quality of fabrics and the simplicity of cleaning that give me an This Britax Companion carseat A. also has an inflatable head support which incorporates it. It is very easy to adjust the straps and stress and all parties are very well done. Another feature is that it has a bar attached to ANTI REBOUND basis for a hard crash of the seat (looking back) will not fly forward into the back of the seat bounce therefore protect the child from getting crashed into the back of the seat. This is the only seat on the market that does this. It has also achieved an excellent side impact protection. Once connected to the base of the seat is safe and it's terribly easy to snap in and out. The bar at the top that are used to run really strong (does not move or snap out of date), but simple to adjust (unlike what another reader said) and has 3 positions and once on the basis of simply pushing the big red button (all that is obviously the label) on both sides and will easily handle all the way back and locks into place so it is behind the seat and acts as another bar on the rebound. I can push forward with your thumbs while sitting next to him and I have arthritis. which is also very nice is that the base is very simple to install. (In the CR test Lock newer car broke only 30 mph for that seat belt use), but comes with the LATCH system and passed. I would definitely buy this again and it was worth every penny.

Child Car Seat Safety – Choosing the Best Child Car Seat for Your Child

When choosing a child safety seat, it is important to first consult the manufacturer of the seat that fits in your car. Most child seat manufacturers list cars that are appropriate. The most important consideration of the day, your child's weight - you'll notice he did not say age - it is true - child and baby car seats designed for a child or baby and even some weight - so you need to know before choosing the right seat. All child seats for the car come with a classification that tells parents the exact age of the child seat is best suited for. These are:

Stage 0 + Infant Carriers

These seats are new babies around 1 year - Remember it is your baby's weight determines which seat to use, nothing to do with the length of the baby's legs, the seat plus zero is suitable for children up to 13 kilograms or 28 pounds.

Stage 0 + and 1 Car Seats

These are the largest car seats designed for infants from birth until about 4 years - when used for babies up to 9 kg, the seat is used rear facing, once the baby has reached 9 kg weight of the seat can be turned around and used forward facing sure is compatible with your vehicle when installed rear-facing and forward. This style seat is quite bulky and usually remains in the car and simply lift the baby.

Stage 1 Child Car Seat

The stage of a child car seat will take baby from 9 kg to 18 kg this is around 1 year (this age is only a guide baby should weigh 9 kg) to about 4 years in a forward position. These usually have to stay in the car - not every seat fits every car. If you have two cars that might be better to buy two seats.

Stage 2 Child Car Seat

These seats have to be installed in each vehicle and generally conforms to all vehicles without too many problems - those with bucket seats have to choose a seat with a small base. This seat is for children 15 kg (33 lb) to 25 kilos (55 pounds), ages 4 to about 10 depending on the Childs height and build. If your child is over 25 kilos of weight, but is below 135 cm in height, it is recommended that the child remains in the seat. Most Stage 2 seats have a height adjustable support for growing children.

Stage 1 and 2 Child Car Seat

For children from 1 year to 12 years (9 kg to 36kgs) there are a number of seats are available. The seats are often provided with a harness or a padlock to use an adult safety belt for use during the early years of the child after you use Free Running a seat belt adult. "Adjustable back and sometimes width is available on certain models.

Stage 3 child seats

This step is only recommended for children 22 kg or 6 years, offers no side protection and simply increases the child to a height that allows the use of an adult safety belt.

All seats available for sale have been rigorously tested for safety. All meet or exceed European standards. So any child car seat you choose, you can be sure it is safe for you baby or child. However, the key question for parents is the installation of the seat and it is here that many parents go wrong - not knowing that not all baby car seats fit all cars and all the children!

Warning: Never buy a second seat to hand, may have been an accident and seriously weakened and the damage may not be visible.

I heard that the pic # 3 can hold a baby up to 1 year 30 lbs, and 32 inches.
Thanks to all who can help me understand this.
